Angling Evolutions, makers of Fish Pimps strike indicators, announced some modifications in their great product. I had the chance to chat with Quentin Hoffpauir, chief pimp, at The Fly Fishing Show about these changes. He indicated that the new model has an improved aerodynamic surface (dimples...like on a golf ball) which helps it sail through the air with less friction. Also leader gripping power is improved with more macho surgical tubing to hold the indicator (pimp) firmly against the leader.
