Connecticut Legislature Votes To Lower License Fees
Wow. The Connecticut Legislature has voted to lower fishing license fees. The fees were doubled for 2010 from $20 to $40 for residents and $40 to $80 for non-residents. Long story short...the public didn't like it with many folks (myself included) refusing to purchase licenses. This surprised politicos in CT and fees were rolled back to $27 for resident and $55 for non-residents. Many other fees were adjusted, including hunting and camping. The lesson here is to vote with the almighty dollar. That's what makes America great.
