I selected the brass bead because the brass wire already gave the fly some weight and I think tungsten would have made this small fly too heavy. Peacock
I have been experimenting with the new colors of tungsten Nymph-Head Beads and brass Real Fly Color Beads that are put out by http://www.flymenfishingcompany.com/. This fly, Peacock, is sporting a Caddis Green brass bead.
I selected the brass bead because the brass wire already gave the fly some weight and I think tungsten would have made this small fly too heavy.
